Disney is pretty trigger happy with cease and desists, so it's to avoid trouble.
Also, most Disney characters already have high quality plush toys for a fraction of the cost I'd have to ask for a commission

When your commissions open, would it be possible to get a non-character plushie? More specifically, a samoyed dog plush. Or do you prefer doing characters since you can get references for them more easily?

I don't mind doing non-characters, I just don't get asked for those very often!

I have two questions regarding your will makes. I say two because its two different characters. But one is could you or more so would you make a Garrus Vakarian or Caboose From Red vs blue. What would be an estimate for each.

Hi!
Humanoid characters aren't my strong point, so I don't think I would accept commissions of these two since they're so complex

Hi, is there a specific reason Homestuck characters are out of the question? Does that include OCs, animals, and something inanimate like buildings or ships?
Reply
:iconmagnastorm:

because Homestuck's creator stated that he did not want Homestuck fan work to be sold

I still prefer to steer clear of independent and indie projects. I don't take commissions of Undertale characters for the same reason, even if the creator expressed consent.

Around how much do you estimate for it to cost for a Leafeon 6" plushie?
If it's a decent price I might request it, if commissions are open when I want it. Thanks!

I get the strange feeling that one of the main reasons why these cost so much is because of the shipping .3.
Reply
:iconmagnastorm:
MagnaStorm Featured By Owner Aug 11, 2015  Professional Artisan Crafter
ahah, actually shipping isn't included because it varies heavily depending on the destination of the package. Plushies just take a really long time to make, averaging between 8-15 hour for moderately detailed small to medium ones while large ones can take up to 40 hours to make.

:iconendieyt:
EndieYT Featured By Owner Aug 12, 2015  Hobbyist General Artist
Ah, so the shipping is actually 0% XD
Well, that's more than understandable, considering that not only these are fully custom-made, but they're really GOOD custom-mades .3.

I, too, was very curious about getting a quote for my personal character. I did send you a Note back on the 30th of March, just was unsure if you had a chance to check over it. I don't normally message through Journals but I thought it be better than blasting Notes lol.

I haven't been on DA in quite some time being so busy with college lately, finals are coming up and everything x_x

Hi, I was just wondering what you deem as overly complicated. I'm looking to get a shiny mega rayquaza, but (at least in my mind) it looks pretty difficult to make. Also out of curiosity, are harder designs easier to make the larger the commissions are?
Reply
:iconmagnastorm:
MagnaStorm Featured By Owner Apr 13, 2015  Professional Artisan Crafter
I think it could be done, though we'd have to do a lot of talking about how to handle certain aspects of its design and some things may have to be simplified.  For very detailed characters the larger the better, because it gives me more room to work in as much details as I can but that also means prices are higher
