I decided to take the day off today. Then I finished my projects for the day super early, so I went back to making plushies lololo.
I've been wanting to make a Windrider cub for sooo long, and I figured since I didn't really have anything planned for today I might as well make it! I also tested out a new, very different type of pattern for this guy. His head is actually not its own piece, like 99% of all my plushies, and I sewed on his ears a different way from usual. His paws are also done using a new needle sculpting trick I learned.
This little Windrider measures 16" long from nose to butt, and 29" from nose to tip of his tail when held straight out. He's made out of minky and faux fur. His eyes are machine embroidered, his mouth is hand embroidered and he has thread sculpted details on his paws and head. The spots on his body are drawn on with a pro marker to look more natural. He has decorative sand in all 4 paws and his butt, which help him pose as pictured.
OMG! I have always wanted the one that Blizzard sells but it is way too expensive.... But this is to cute! Is there anyway you may be making more of these in the future?
I'm not 100% sure on the price since I didn't keep track of the time and resources spent on this guy, but plushies this size and complexity are around $200
