He's available in my Etsy shop !
ahah oh wow he sold in like 2 mins
When I discontinued all my previous Toothless patterns I already knew that I wanted to work out a simpler, easier to make version to offer instead. I feel like I've semi-accomplished my goal with this guy. He's still made up of more pieces than I'd like, but that's just how Toothless' design is. Overall though I'm very happy with the outcome and I wouldn't mind re-making him, for a while at least.
I was also aiming for something more stylized, different from all the others out there. When I started this I had no idea if it was actually going to look good but I'm glad I took a chance lol
Toothless measures 15" from the top of his head to the ground, 17" including his ears. He's made out of minky and has machine embroidred eyes as usual. His feet and the tip of his tail have plastic pellets in them in order to make him floppy.
But the coolest thing about him? He's one of my first 100% machine sewn plushies! No hand sewn details, the head isn't ladder stitched on; it's all machine sewn. This is probably something I'll do only to patterns I plan on re-using at least a couple times because of how much work is adds to the pattern drafting process. I may offer it for ooak commissions for a premium if it's something people are interested in though? Plushies with handsewn details are just as tough as this guy, it's just a cool thing really.
