FINALLY DONE. 50+ hours later he's done. Red Eyes is actually a good example of what I would normally NOT make lol. I only took this commission because Red Eyes is my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh monster, and because I highly underestimated it at first. xD But I'm glad I did make him, he was a great challenge. Though I can definitely say that this guy will remain one of a kind. He was more complex and took longer to make than my giant 5ft long Kyogre! @_@
I did my best to get all his bumps and spikes done, I think I'm only missing a scale or two from the tail. It was interesting to build up all the shapes. I ended up overlaying most of them, so this guy's actually mostly hand sewn.
Anyways, onto the technical stuff. He stands at a mere 8 inches tall, and is made out of minky and has machine embroidered eyes. His hands and feet have thread sculpted details, and his tail is filled with decorative sand to counterweight that heavy head of his which allows him to stand on his own!
I wish I could have gotten better pictures of him, but he's just so dark my camera has a hard time capturing any details xP
