Here's my second attempt at a pony; I think this time it worked much better!
ThisRainbow Dash is pretty similar to my first one [link] but I fixed the snout, drew the legs closer together, and made the back legs a little thicker. The rest is about the same. Same size, markings, etc. This time she's 100% minky.
I love making ponies, but I think I need a short break from this one. xP
I love this plush! I've been wanting to make a rainbow dash plush myself for quite some time now. Get ready for a horse-load of questions here. ^u^ What pattern/cutout did you use to make her? How much was the fabric or all the materials together? How much time did you spend to make this? What difficulties did you run into when making rainbow dash? Please and thanks if you answer all my questions. It will really help me with making my own RB<3
hey! ahah don't worry I don't mind the questions. I make all the patterns I use myself, although I'm sure there are plenty of horse patterns out there that could be modified into a MLP plush, and I know *Lonepichu is selling a pony pattern for 10$. And as for fabric cost...Rainbow Dash is pretty expensive thanks to all the colors she has. I had most of the colors already thanks to precious commissions, but the minky I use is 13$/meter and can only be ordered in meter increments, not by half meter etc, which can skyrocket her material cost if you don't have any of the colors for her. As for difficulties...the head and the eyes. D: I still don't think they look right. xP
