Pokota plushie by MagnaStorm Pokota plushie by MagnaStorm
I swear I'll submit drawings in the near future. I've just been super lazy with scanning my sketchbook xP

So here's a commissioned Pokota from Slayers for =anidragon to go with her cosplay. I used the same pattern as Lopmon/Terriermon so it kinda chibified him, I hope that's okay.

He's made out of fleece (the cape is coton/polyester)and the patch of fur on top of his head is from one of the ugliest fake fur carpet in the world from Wal Mart. I painted it with diluded acrylic paint. The face is also painted on with acrylics.

Oh and the ears are poseable xD

I am now taking plushie commissions! check out the details here [link]

He would be 60$+shipping, though right now I'm not taking orders but I will be re-opening this summer :)

This is awesome. Did you make a pocket in the chest or is the zipper just decorative?

At first it was supposed to be an actual pocket, but I ended up just making it decorative because it was causing some troubles with stuffing the plush. But I do plan on trying to make an actual pocket if I redo him again :)

Mmh, I'm currently planning my own Pokota plushie and that's one of my biggest concerns. My plan for the pocket is to use a bowl (probably hard plastic) on the inside as structure. Encase that in fabric and then stuff around that (if that makes sense). I'm also researching large gauge zippers, which can be found on some Kingdom Hearts costume sites.

ooooh, the bowl is a great idea! because that was my problem; by making a pocket, the plush would look really...cheap and floppy because it meant I had to put less stuffing in it to make the pocket useable. As for the zipper, I just bought a large one, then cut down the length to what I needed, but one like those KH costume ones would be even awesomer!

Just google Kingdom Hearts Zipper. I'm planning to use a #20, but right now all they've got in gray is a 54'' so I put a request out to make a shorter one. Here's hoping.

*squee* OMG, he's so adorable! :D I can't wait to actually get my hands on him! I'll have to find time to get to Miramichi at some point soon... Damn job giving me bad hours. -_-.

Did you want me to paypal you the money now, or to pay you when I go up to get him?

I'm glad you like him ^_^ Yeah whenever you're in Miramichi let me know! I'll meet up with you ^^

Whatever method of payment works the best for you. I like paypal though because since the money never really gets into my hands I can save it up for my future BJD lol

Also I have some leftovers from the fabric you gave me to make Pokota. Did you want that back?

Don't worry about the fabric, you'll probably get a lot more use out of it than I will. ^_^.

Heh, good strategy on the money saving! Alrighty, then, I'll paypal it to you. Just send me a note with your paypal name and the amount I owe you.
