Link and Loftwing

Saying that I'm in love with these two would be a huge understatement ahah. I'm sooo happy with how they turned out! Loftwing definitely needs a video to show all the cool things he can do with the plastic armature, I'll have to get one done before I send him out.

So! The technical stuff, starting with Loftwing:
He's 24" long and has a wing span of 34".He's made of minky with machine embroidered eyes. He's the first plush that I've made that uses a plastic armature. I have to say I'm in love with the stuff. It works so well and doesn't fight back when the plush is being posed, it just holds. Really well. Simple wire wouldn't have been able to support the wings outstretched upwards like in the pictures because of their weight(this is a HEAVY plush for it's size!) but the armature does it like it's nothing. The belt around Loftwing's neck is actually a BJD belt I had lying around ahah. I used it since I just couldn't find tiny rings and buckles to make my own.

As for Link:
He stands at 8" tall, and is made out of deer suede, various other suede for his clothes and minky for his hair. He features TONS of machine embroidered details. He also has a plastic armature, but since my humans have to be stuffed tighter than my regular plushies he's stiffer than Loftwing.
