I made something...for myself??
Yup, although I'm constantly making plushies I very rarely keep anything for myself. The last plush I made to keep was my Braixen, almost a full year ago!

I adopted this guy from BentoStars last week, while I was planning on making a plush of him I didn't expect to have him done so soon ahah. But I had a free weekend so I figured why not.

He's my first large laying pony, something I had wanted to make for a long, long time now. I also decided to not worry about show-accuracy and make something more to my style preference(since you know he's mine lol). He's 35" long from front hooves to the tip of his tail when straightened out and has tons of plastic pellets in his paws and tail as well as a lightly stuffed body to make him into a giant beanie. The result is one of the cuddliest, most posable plush I've made so far. His wings are also wired, though more for shape than making them poseable. The wires don't run far into his body so they don't really have support, which for once was what I was aiming for to keep the loose and floppy theme going. He's got a machine embroidered face like usual, and all the color changes were satin stitched and took about 5 hours to sew. *_* Oh and he also sits very comfortably on your shoulder, and his wing can hook around your neck for extra stability too!
